13th July, 2010Minister White was delighted to visit Home-Start Swords today. In May Minister White met Paul Martin and his colleagues and her visit today is a follow up to that. Carlow, 9 July 2010
Mary White T.D., Minister of State with responsibility for Equality, Integration and Human Rights, today visited the Rohingyan refugees who were resettled in Carlow, in June 2009, as programme refugees. The Minister met with the refugees, support workers, volunteers and local service providers in St. Catherine’s Community Services Centre where much of the programme is delivered, and toured the facilities.
