Minister of State Mary White T.D., visits resettled Rohingyan Refugees in Carlow

Carlow, 9 July 2010

Mary White T.D., Minister of State with responsibility for Equality, Integration and Human Rights, today visited the Rohingyan refugees who were resettled in Carlow, in June 2009, as programme refugees. The Minister met with the refugees, support workers, volunteers and local service providers in St. Catherine’s Community Services Centre where much of the programme is delivered, and toured the facilities.

Capital investment for Kilkenny libraries welcomed by White
