19 new units for People with Specific Housing Needs in Carlow

Green Party T.D. for Carlow/Kilkenny, Mary White, has welcomed the announcement of funding from the Department of the Environment for 19 housing units in Carlow.
Commenting on the allocation announced yesterday, the Green Party Deputy Leader said:
“I’m delighted with this news of nineteen housing units for Carlow: fifteen for Leighlinbridge and four for the Blackbog Road in the town. These units will make a difference to the lives of those with special housing requirements, and will enable them to live independently. Leighlinbridge HA and Tintean do immense work for the people of Carlow and I wish them and the Council well with this new project. ”
The funding is part of a €157 million housing allocation from the Department of the Environment.
The projects in Carlow are:
15 Housing Units Leighlinbridge, run by Leighlinbridge HA.
4 Housing Units on the Blackbog Rd, Carlow, run by Tintean
